Munnar, M for Masons?

Munnar is one of the most popular hill-resort towns in Kerala and in southern India. The name Munnar is believed to be derived from the malayalam words Munu (three) and aaru (river), referring to the town's strategic location at the confluence of three rivers.

The region in and around Munnar varies in height from 2,000 meters (6,600 ft) to 2,600 meters (8,500 ft) above mean sea level. Munnar enjoys a salubrious climate. The temperature ranges between 10 °C (50 °F) and 0 °C (32 °F) in winter and 8 °C (46 °F) and 16 °C (61 °F) in summer.Temperatures as low as −2 °C (28 °F) have been recorded in seven malai region of Munnar.

Mahabalipuram, The Shore Temple

The Shore Temple is located at Mahabalipuram, Chennai, India facing Bay of Bengal. This temple was built in 8^th century during the reign of Pallava dynasty. This temple is classified as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Archaeological Survey of India now maintains the temple.

Many other monuments are found near this five storeyed Hindu Temple. The pyramidal structure of the temple is 60ft high. There are three shrines in this temple. The main shrine, in the east is dedicated to Lord Shiva, along with a small shrine in the west side. The middle shrine is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
